Longhorn

The son of all conquering sire Danehill is one the best bred stallions in Queensland if not Australasia. His dam is group one placed matron Fitting who has also produced Danbird as well as Catbird who won the world’s richest two year old race – the Golden Slipper. Catbird went on to prove a sire of the highest quality with progeny such as Catechuchu, Collate, Cat’s Fun and Diego Garcia. Rapid Man

The son of quality sire St. Covet was both a star youngster and is now a star young sire. Rapid Man won up to 1400 metres in group 3 level and secured important Group 1 prizemoney in the QTC Sires’ and TJ Smith Stakes, the latter behind champion Show a Heart.

Now at stud, Rapid Man’s prize earners to starters is 75% and includes the likes of stakes placed Rapid Jacko.

Top Echelon

Few young sires in Queensland boast rich, sophisticated pedigrees and significant racetrack ability like Top Echelon. The impressive grey is by the impeccably bred Umatilla, a Mr Prospector/Northern Dancer cross stallion who is a half brother to Hurricane Sky from the family of Redoute’s Choice. Top Echelon is not just from a mare by Melbourne Cup winner Kingston Rule, his dam is also a half sister to the mother of gifted Group 1 Epsom Handicap winner Regal Native.

Top Echelon reached just that on the race track, with his second placing to wonder filly Lovely Jubly in the Group1 TJ Smith among the highlights.

From just a handful of progeny, Top Echelon has produced several racetrack victors – of those all are winners of multiple races.

Waterford Road

This full brother to two classic winners offers the complete package to breeders. Waterford Road is a son of the great Danehill, from an Oaks placed mare by Sir Tristram and is a stakes winning brother to two Group 1 winners. Those are Victoria Derby winner and sire Blackfriars as well as Oaks heroine Larrocha. It’s an impressive CV which also yielded multiple stakes wins in Victoria and Queensland.

The blueblood of Waterford Road has been transferred to his progeny, with prize earnings of more than $3 million to date, including the likes of stakes earners Hit the Road and Cole Trickle as well as multiple city winners Craiglea Warrior, Try Some Magic and Craiglea Emma.

Royal Harlequin

Royal Harlequin showed the family SPEED scoring against quality opposition at both his first start in a race as a 2yo and also at his third start at Moonee Valley.

More than Ready’s winners to starters ratio is a phenomenal 70% with turf stars Sebring, Phelan Ready, Benicio, Augusta Proud and More Joyous among his best progeny here while his feats in North America are also very impressive.

Citiwyse is from the speedy Citidancer mare Citichy who clinched the listed Ramornie Handicap in a blistering 1.09:19 among her 10 career victories. Citichy was a true professional finishing in the placings on 22 occasions.

As a matron, Citichy is making a real name for herself. Her eldest is Show a Heart son Showman – a winner of six including Black Type performances in Macau. His full brother Heart of the Citi arrived the following year and in his million dollar career has snared victory in the Magic Millions trophy and was stakes placed in the Gold Coast Guineas.
