AGITATE – First Season Sire standing at $2,950 (Inc. GST)
A striking brown/black stallion he possesses in spades the key ingredient for success in 2 and 3 Y/O old QTIS racing – SPEED, SPEED and more SPEED!
The story thus far…
Agitate is by the renowned Queensland sire, who was himself a prolific sire of QTIS winners – SEQULAO. As a race horse he also possessed unbelievable speed, and during a long and illustrious carrier at stud produced winner after winner; season after season – almost always at or near the top of the QTIS sire rankings!
AGITATE’s Dam – Stirring – was purchased in NZ through renowned trainer and horseman Alan Jones. She enjoyed much success at the race track and was also blessed with outstanding talent; tenacity and speed – particularly out of the barriers.
This “golden” speed trait so often lacking in other racehorses was clearly evident throughout AGITATE’s distinguished racing career. His gate speed was there for all to see. Jockeys such as Glen Colless and trainer Kelly Schweida publicly declared that they had never ridden or seen a horse with such blinding gate speed! During an illustrious racing career Agitate was a dominant figure in 2 and 3 year QTIS racing. He was always first out of the gates and very often also the first home. One of his more dominant wins was in the Listed Mick Dittman Plate at Doomben which was won in record time.
The story to come…
Agitate is a striking individual. He is correct; has tremendous muscle definition and the look of a supreme athlete. He offers Queensland broodmare owners the opportunity to breed to a family with a pedigree stamp of SPEED, SPEED more SPEED and 2 year old precocity. So important when the name of the game is the prizemoney associated with producing 2 and 3 year old QTIS runners!
AGITATE stands his first season at Craiglea Stud.
